Disk feeder is a kind of ore feeding machine suitable for feeding various ore powders whose granularity is below 20 mm. Disk feeder is composed of drive device, feeder device, belt conveyor and metering mechanism. The feeder device and belt conveyor are driven by a set of transmission device whose electromagnetic clutch drive has the functions to start up and close down the feeder device, in addition to function transformation.
The disk feeder is divided into hanging type and seating type, and the two types can also be divided into open-type and closed-type, generally used to feed medium and fine granular materials in the production processes of coal dressing, ore dressing, sintering and electricity.
The difference between the closed-type disk feeder and open-type disk feeder:
The closed-type disk feeder has a cover on the upper part, suitable for those sites with higher demands on air degree. The open-type disk feeder has no cover on the upper part and is convenient to operate and maintain, applicable to the occasions with lower demands on air purification degree.
